Arts & Culture

The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Central Florida (Alliance), through its programs and services, seeks to increase participation from residents and visitors to Central Florida's arts and cultural offerings through collaborative marketing and sales efforts.  The Alliance serves over 360 arts and cultural organizations in the seven counties of Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole and Volusia.

RED CHAIR PROJECT

The Red Chair Project is a collaborative campaign that increases both access and awareness to arts and cultural offerings in Central Florida.  The central place to take action is the website, Redchairproject.com, which includes a calendar of events, organization and venue listings, online box office and a weekly promotional e-mail marketing campaign.  Also included in this program is the annual celebration that kicks off the cultural season, the Red Chair Affair.

Central Florida Disability Chamber

The mission of the Central Florida Disability Chamber is to provide information and education on business creation and growth, specifically designed for the needs of people with disabilities.

What we do:

Greater Orlando Aviation Authority

Orlando International Airport is managed by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, which is governed by a seven-member board; the mayor of the City of Orlando, the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, and five other members who are appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida, subject to confirmation of the senate.  The airport is operated by the Executive Director, who is appointed by the Authority, and his staff of nearly 650 full-time employees.
