Orlando/Orange County CVB Launches New Locals Only Launch Page on VisitOrlando.com Web Site

ORLANDO, Fla. – Local residents enjoy Orlando and its attractions as much as the 48 million plus visitors that come here every year. Just as local families and residents plan their summer activities, the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (Orlando/Orange County CVB) has developed a local's only page on its Web site just for them. Local residents can find the page by going to www.orlandoforlocals.com and find great Orlando Makes Me Smile deals as well as information on all there is to do right in their own backyard.

"This new area of our Web site is dedicated to local residents. Who better to enjoy all that Orlando has offer than those people that live, work and play here," said Gary Sain, president & CEO of the Orlando/Orange County CVB. "Our main focus at the CVB is to attract visitors to Orlando to stay overnight, but our residents deserve to have a resource to enjoy their city and all it has to offer."

As the epicenter of fun, it would take about 67 eight-hour days to visit all of the entertaining offerings in Orlando. The VisitOrlando.com Web site has the most comprehensive information on Orlando's entertainment, attractions and dining options. Local residents now have a resource when entertaining friends and families and the Orlando/Orange County CVB also has discounted tickets to attractions and entertainment available as well.

The Orlando CVB is the branding, sales and marketing organization responsible for positioning Orlando as the destination of choice for leisure and meetings business for the economic benefit of the Orlando region.  The organization celebrates 25 years of destination management excellence in 2009.
