Orlando CVB Promotes Zita Steglich to Director of Convention Sales
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (Orlando CVB) has promoted Zita Steglich to Director of Convention Sales. In this position, Steglich will report to Tammi Runzler, vice president of convention sales and services, and will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the convention sales department and assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategies for Orlando’s meetings and convention industry.
A recognized destination expert and sales and service leader, Steglich is approaching a decade of service with the Orlando CVB, having joined the organization in September 1998. Most recently as Senior National Sales Executive she has been instrumental in developing and servicing countless accounts from the Northeast Region.
In addition to her destination knowledge, Steglich brings more than 20 years of hospitality and convention sales industry service and experience to her clients having worked for such brand leaders as American Airlines, Hyatt and InterContinental Hotels.
Ms. Steglich, a native New Yorker, is a certified meeting planner, a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners (NCBMP).
