McFadyen Joins Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc.® Sales Team

ORLANDO, Fla. – Nancy B. McFadyen, has been named Senior National Sales Executive for the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc.® (Orlando CVB), it was announced today by senior vice president of sales and marketing David Sargent.  Based in Chicago, McFadyen will be responsible for growing business to Orlando from the Washington D.C. association and trade show markets which she has concentrated on for the Hilton Hotels Corporation and Sheraton Hotels and Resorts over the past 15 years of her career. 

“We are thrilled to have Nancy join our highly regarded sales team,” said Sargent. “She brings with her a solid client base in the association-filled Washington D.C. market that she has mined for several years. Her customer knowledge in the meetings and conventions and trade show arena is exemplary. In particular, she has cultivated strong ties to the government market on a national level through her work with the White House Travel Office over the course of three administrations.”  

McFadyen has held progressive positions with both Hilton and Sheraton corporations including national sales manager, associate director of sales and account director for the Washington D.C. area for Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Westin River North Sales Complex; senior sales manager for Hilton Chicago, national sales manager and transient sales manager for ITT Sheraton Corporation National Sales office; and account executive for Sheraton Houston Hotel. Most recently, she was the Senior Sales Manager for Hiltons of Chicago Sales Complex focused on the Washington D.C. area. 

The Orlando CVB is the branding, sales and marketing association responsible for positioning Orlando as the destination of choice for leisure and meetings business for the economic benefit of the Orlando region.
