AirTran Airways and the Orlando CVB Partner to “Say YES to Orlando” with New Look Airplane

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau Inc. (Orlando CVB) and AirTran Airways (AAI) - Orlando’s hometown airline – along with performers from the resident company of La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil unveiled today a new look for one of the AirTran Airways airplanes. An AirTran Boeing 717 received a new look with the addition of the “Say YES to Orlando” logo. AirTran Airways and the Orlando CVB are partnering together to promote travel to the world’s top destination through this specially designed airplane. The airplane sports a large “Say YES to Orlando” logo on both sides and will travel throughout the United States inviting travelers to “Say YES to Orlando.”
“To honor AirTran Airways’ partnership with the Orlando CVB, we have placed their ‘Say YES to Orlando’ logo on the side of one of our Boeing 717 aircraft,” said Kevin Healy, senior vice president of marketing and planning for AirTran Airways. “By collaborating with the Orlando CVB, we hope to encourage more of our passengers around the country to visit Orlando.”
The Orlando CVB has also partnered with its members to create 100 Orlando values for business and leisure travelers planning a visit to Orlando. The special values are available at orlandoinfo.com/offers.
In conjunction with the unveiling, AirTran Airways is offering special sale fares for Orlando and other cities across the country for travel through November 5, 2008. Fares from Orlando begin at $89* one way. Sample fares include:

Orlando – Raleigh/Durham $ 99 Orlando – Philadelphia $109
The sale fares are available for purchase through July 10, 2008.

*All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase, plus any applicable increase in airfare.
