No matter where you go in Orlando, you'll come across coffee shops offering great java fixes, including locally roasted blends, hot teas and even freshly baked pastries and donuts. Make no mistake — local coffee shops abound throughout Orlando! If you need a cup-of-joe to go, or want to savor one with a snack or two, check out the 21 remarkable cafes and eateries spotlighted below.

1. Downtown Credo

Accepting donations in lieu of payment, Downtown Credo uses its proceeds to fund local art, music and charitable events. Their responsibly sourced blends can be purchased for home brewing, and food is also available. Plus, they have several locations near downtown.

2. Tea Traders Café by Joffrey's at Disney Springs

At Disney Springs, Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Co. has turned over a new leaf. Their loose-leaf teas can be enjoyed hot, iced, blended or even spirited, either to go or for a sit-down break from the crowds amid a modern-meets-vintage ambience.

3. Austin's Coffee

Located in Winter Park, just 20 minutes from Orlando, Austin's Coffee is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Coffee, tea, wine and beer are all available, and a gourmet food menu will help cure any munchies.

4. Lineage Coffee Roasting

This business is mostly wholesale, but they maintain a retail outlet at East End Market in Audubon Park, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. Once you've finished your coffee, be sure to check out the market's other eclectic eateries and retailers.

5. The Donut King

The coffee pairs beautifully with the star attractions at this family-owned bakery, which has locations in Winter Park and Minneola (about 50 minutes west of Orlando). The donuts are baked fresh daily, with plenty of traditional and exotic varieties to choose from, as well as full breakfast and lunch options.

6. Axum Coffee

Located on Plant Street in charming Winter Garden, Axum Coffee donates all of its profits to charitable causes. Tea, paninis and desserts are also available. Many other nearby restaurants and shops are also worth visiting, so make time to experience it all.

7. Market Restaurant at Legoland Florida

Besides providing plenty of food options, the Market Restaurant doubles as a coffee oasis when you're building a day of adventure at Legoland Florida. While you're there, might as well grab a muffin or croissant so your coffee doesn't feel lonely.

8. Orlando Cat Cafe

Located in Clermont, approximately 15 minutes west of Walt Disney World, this unique business serves coffee from another standout on this list, Axum Coffee. As the name implies, you can play with cats while enjoying your java, or adopt one too.

9. Black Bean Deli

Cuban coffee is easy to find in Florida, but if you want the real deal in Orlando, we recommend Black Bean Deli's Mills 50 (just a short drive from downtown Orlando) or Winter Park locations. Going to an event at the Amway Center? They maintain a presence there too.

Winter Park's Foxtail Coffee responsibly sources beans by trading only with environmentally friendly farms that pay fair wages. And if you're eating dinner at DoveCote Brasserie in downtown Orlando, you can order coffee from their in-restaurant coffee stand.

11. Le Cafe de Paris

An Orlando original with roots in France, and located down the street from Dr. Phillips' famed Restaurant Row, Le Cafe de Paris specializes in house-brewed blends. Make sure you arrive hungry, as the full breakfast and lunch menus, including many desserts, are served all day.

12. Benjamin French Bakery & Café

This culinary gem has a full range of gourmet coffee, plus hot chocolate and tea. Add a breakfast and lunch menus and a menagerie of pastries, and you'll never want to leave. You can find it adjacent to downtown Orlando in Thornton Park.

13. Ace Café Orlando

Established in 1938 in London, Ace Cafe is home to fast cars, live entertainment and terrific food. More to the point, "the Ace" also has a dedicated coffee bar serving outstanding brews from morning until night, seven days a week.

14. Bikes, Beans & Bordeaux

Cycling is big in Orlando, and Audubon Park's Bikes, Beans & Bordeaux — aka B3 — stems from the owners' passion for that pastime, healthy living and a healthy environment. You can also enjoy wine, craft beer and delicious lunch and breakfast creations.

15. Drunken Monkey Coffee Bar

Located in Orlando's Milk District, a community east of downtown Orlando, Drunken Monkey Coffee Bar is less of a java joint and more of an all-purpose neighborhood hangout. Also, a vegan and vegetarian food menu will give your coffee plenty of company.

16. Cypress Bakery at SeaWorld Orlando

Cypress Bakery is the place to get coffee while exploring SeaWorld Orlando. It's also a sensational spot to satisfy your sweet tooth with freshly baked desserts, such as croissants, muffins, cookies, pastries and other delicious delights, some of which pay homage to the park itself.

17. Barnie's CoffeeKitchen

A retail storefront, headquarters and test lab for Barnie's Coffee & Tea Co., this coffee shop is located on Park Avenue in Winter Park. Besides acclaimed micro-roasts, this shop also features a chef-driven menu that's fresh, inventive and, whenever possible, locally sourced.

18. Vespr Coffeebar

Focusing on specialty beverages and creativity, this cafe serves single-origin coffee and organic, fair-trade tea in a hip, contemporary setting. There's no food service, but the surrounding Waterford Lakes area (about 15 minutes east of downtown Orlando) has numerous dining and shopping options.

19. Dandelion Communitea Cafe

You can get organic, fair-trade coffee here, but as the name implies, tea is their raison d'être. The ecofriendly eatery, which is located in Orlando's Mills 50 district, also offers lots of tasty, mostly vegan food, with the exception of organic raw cheddar and feta cheeses.

20. Lard Lad Donuts at Universal Studios Florida

Thanks to this eatery in the Springfield section of Universal Studios Florida, everyone can enjoy Homer Simpson's favorite donuts. Lard Lad sells other sweet treats too, including several with ice cream for beating the heat. Coffee and other beverages are available for washing it all down.

21. Stardust Video & Coffee

Audubon Park's Stardust Video & Coffee offers coffee, movies and a whole lot more. The extensive food menu, which includes several items for kids, has an appetizing array of salads, sandwiches and snacks. Moreover, the adult-beverage selection includes a dedicated scotch bar.
