You'll be surprised to know that more than 20 top restaurants offer delicious vegetarian entrees during Visit Orlando's Magical Dining Month - all for a great price, too!

With Orlando's growing gastronomy scene, it's no wonder Visit Orlando's Magical Dining Month sponsored by American Express® attracts thousands to taste food from some of the destination's finest restaurants. From Aug. 25–Oct. 12, diners get the opportunity to feast on a delicious three-course meal for only $35 per person — an amazing value, without a doubt.

Visitors and locals looking for meat-free options will not want to miss the many vegetarian dishes offered on this year's menus at more than 20 of the 110-plus participating restaurants, located in seven districts throughout Central Florida:

Disney and Lake Buena Vista

American Kitchen Bar & Grill
Vegetarians dining at the cozy American Kitchen inside B Resort & Spa can enjoy the Summer Squash & Sweet Pea Vegetable Rigati. Created with zucchini puree and heirloom tomato, then topped with shaved Parmesan and toasted pine nuts, this dish is definitely one I'm excited to try myself!

Il Mulino New York Trattoria
Walt Disney World Swan Resort's Il Mulino offers the Penne Rigate, served with the restaurant's original marinara sauce and ricotta cheese. Those dining on Friday and Saturday evenings can enjoy live musical entertainment as well.

Jiko - The CookingPlace
Scents of African-inspired dishes fill the air at Jiko inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Vegetarians can savor the West African Koki Corn, served with mushrooms, poblano-tomatillo purée and roasted red pepper sauce.

International Drive

Ciao Italia Ristorante Italiano
The family-owned Ciao Italia Ristorante not only serves delicious Italian cuisine, but also offers the vegetarian Rigatoni alla Siciliana entrée on their Magical Dining® menu. This rigatoni pasta dish is served with eggplant, sundried tomatoes and Bufala mozzarella in a light tomato sauce.

Copper Canyon Grill
Located at Pointe Orlando in the heart of InternationalDrive, Copper Canyon Grill offers veggie eaters the Chef'sVegetable Creation. Inspired by the season's freshest ingredients, this may be one not to miss!

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar
Those in the mood for a little taste of Latin flavor can head to Cuba Libre for the Grilled Vegetable Paella served with broccolini, zucchini, cauliflower, leeks, eggplant, wild mushrooms, artichoke hearts, saffron long grain rice, asparagus and roasted piquillo pepper salad.

Itta Bena
The Stuffed Portobello Mushroom at Itta Bena on International Drive's Pointe Orlando gives a taste of southern cuisine. The dish is served with basil pesto rice, red bell peppers and sautéed green beans.

Tapa Toro
Located in the middle of the action and fun of I-Drive 360, Tapa Toro, which serves Spanish- and Portuguese-inspired cuisine, is happy to prepare a vegetarian entrée for non-meat eaters as part of their Magical Dining menu.

Christini's Ristorante Italiano
The elegance of Christini's Ristorante brings Old Italian charm to Dr. Phillips' Restaurant Row. And vegetarians looking to try something a little different can try the Fagottini alla Pera - a pasta purse stuffed with pears in a Gorgonzola cream sauce.

The Melting Pot of Orlando
Known for its infamous fondue concept, The Melting Pot Orlando location will offer Good Earth Vegetarian as part of this year's event menu. With edamame, artichoke hearts, Portobello mushrooms, asparagus, Thai peanut tofu, spinach- and artichoke-stuffed ravioli and wild mushroom sacchetti, this dish is sure to satisfy both vegetarians and veggie lovers.

BiCE Ristorante
Located in the Italian-inspired Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, BiCE Ristorante offers the Spaghetti alla Chitarra con Pesto di Basilico, Pinoli e Porri Fritti, which translates to: homemade spaghetti chitarra with basil pesto, pine nuts, Parmigiano and fried leeks. Delizioso!

Mama Della's Ristorante
Also at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel is Mama Della's, offering an authentic Italian dining experience complete with strolling musicians to accompany your meal. Vegetarians will be excited to note that the restaurant offers the Eggplant Parmesan complete with broccolini and fresh tomatoes, as part of their Magical Dining® menu.

Artisan's Table
Just as the name suggests, Artisan'sTable not only offers dishes with the freshest ingredients, but its décor features artisan-made furniture and art throughout. Veggie eaters will be able to enjoy the casual atmosphere during Magical Dining® Month as they savor the Roasted Spaghetti Squash, served with asiago, roasted garlic, kale, olives and tomatoes.

Maxine's on Shine
The intimate setting and delicious eats of Maxine's on Shine attracts both locals and tourists alike. Ask your server for the Chef Select Vegetarian dish, which is part of their Magical Dining® menu.

Soco
The name may be deceiving, but the Chicken-Fried Cauliflower "Steak" is Soco's vegetarian option for non-meat eaters. Served with asparagus, artichoke, garlic mashed potatoes and vine ripe tomato gravy, this dish is best enjoyed on the outdoor patio overlooking the cobblestone streets and action of the Thornton Park neighborhood.

Winter Park

Hamilton's Kitchen
Located inside The Alfond Inn in historic Winter Park, just 20 minutes North of Orlando, Hamilton's Kitchen will delight their vegetarian guests with their Wild Mushroom Ravioli, prepared with herb pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, grilled focaccia and shaved Parmesan.

Luma on Park
If pumpkin-flavored anything sounds absolutely delicious, veggie eaters will love Luma on Park's Seminole Pumpkin Ravioli, created with brown butter, Brentwood corn, ricotta salata and pepita granola. Choose to sit out on the patio for a scenic view of cobblestoned Park Avenue.

The Ravenous Pig
James Beard-nominated Chefs James and Julie Petrakis of The Ravenous Pig will offer their House Made Tagliatelle Pasta with seasonal vegetables on their Magical Dining® menu. Yum!

A Short Drive from the Attractions

The unique atmosphere of 1921 by James Beard Award-winning Chef Norman Van Aken features a museum dining room with unique pieces and artwork on the walls. Located in the historic community of Mount Dora, just 30 minutes from Orlando, the restaurant offers vegetarians the Roasted Vegetables with Cashew "Cream" served with curried sunchoke puree and coriander vinaigrette.

K Restaurant
Not too far from Downtown Orlando, vegetarians can try K Restaurant's Gnocchi with summer vegetable ratatouille, pecorino and basil. The eatery celebrates modern American cuisine with an emphasis on local ingredients.

McCoy's Bar & Grill
Located inside Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, McCoy'sBar & Grill focuses on creating dishes with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The Summer Pasta on this year's Magical Dining menu is crafted with blistered heirloom tomatoes, roasted garlic, asparagus and fresh arugula.

The Smiling Bison Restaurant & Bar
The farm-to-table Smiling Bison, located in historic downtown Sanford, is where veggie eaters can try the Toasted Coriander Spaghetti, made with tomato, sweet potato greens, mushroom, calabaza puree and Reggiano-Parmigiano.

A Dish for Every Palate

Whether it's Italian cuisine, African-inspired fare orfarm-to-table dishes, rest assured that vegetarian foodies will be able to enjoy all kinds of delicious flavors during Visit Orlando's Magical Dining Month. Those interested in exploring other participating restaurants are encouraged to contact them in advance to discuss what menu substitutions may be available to meet dietary restrictions, such as vegan, kosher or gluten-free.
