It's no secret that Orlando is the Theme Park Capital of the World®. But in addition to its thrilling theme parks, diverse attractions and unique restaurants, the destination is home to several shopping districts.

Surveys show that shopping is the No. 1 reason international visitors come to Orlando, and it's not hard to see why. From top-notch outlets and luxe malls to eclectic and unique stores in some of the destination's most beautiful neighborhoods, Orlando's got plenty to fill every fashion lover's heart and shopping bag.

Mall at Millenia Fashion Week

 Luxury Fashion Week

The Mall at Millenia, Orlando's  luxury mall located just minutes away from downtown Orlando, provides an  unparalleled shopping experience with an array of luxury boutiques, high-end  stores and delicious dining restaurants. From brands like Louis Vuitton, Tiffany  & Co. and Sephora, visitors will have over 150 fine stores to shop while  visiting Orlando. And starting Sept. 14, the mall will host its 12th Annual Fashion Week. With three runway shows showcasing the must-have trends  for fall 2017, fashion lovers will find inspiration behind the best-in-class  brands featured throughout the week.

Destination visitors will have the  opportunity to attend a variety of shows throughout the week-long event,  including the new "Fashion's Night In" runway show and the "Fashion Brunch & Boutiques" presentation benefitting Runway to Hope, a charity that helps local  children and families impacted by pediatric cancer. Orlando Premium Outlets

Designer Outlets Galore

As if the Mall at Millenia weren't  enough for fashion lovers, visitors can hop on over to the nearby Orlando International Premium Outlets for great savings on top brands such as Guess, Calvin Klein and Adidas. The center is also home to Central Florida's only Victoria's Secret outlet.

Those staying near Walt Disney  World Resort can shop the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets - with more than 160 designer and name-brand stores — and enjoy extraordinary savings of 25 percent to 65 percent, and sometimes more. Also nearby is Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores,  offering savings on top designer names like Gap, Levi's, Nike and Tommy  Hilfiger.

Florida Mall

Shopping and Family Fun Combined

On top of all the shopping, The Florida Mall features exclusive experiences that make this an all-day trip.  From creating colorful chocolate blends at M&M's World to designing a signature crayon at Crayola  Experience, destination visitors will find many diverse activities to make the trip even more memorable.

 Unique Shopping Districts

A couple of miles down from The Florida  Mall, visitors can make a stop at International Drive — full of restaurants,  attractions, daytime activities and nightlife. Once there, visitors won't want to miss Pointe Orlando as part of their shopping journey. Pulsing with energy, music and live performances, the entertainment complex makes the perfect place to shop iconic brands and take advantage of nearby entertainment venues like Main Event Orlando, Hard  Knocks laser tag and WonderWorks

Disney Springs

Visitors can also shop right in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort at Disney Springs — a "magical" complex featuring an eclectic mix of shopping, dining and entertainment. And for those looking to shop the latest trends in fashion, Disney Springs is the place to find top styles from stores like Lucky Brand and Anthropologie,  as well as Disney-exclusive merchandise at shops like Basin and ALEX AND ANI.

Finally, those who wish to explore some of Orlando's more eclectic shopping districts can venture off to Winter  Park — a suburb located near downtown Orlando. Once there, visitors won't want to miss the opportunity to take a stroll through picturesque Park Avenue.

With its quaint cafes and cobblestone streets, the historical area makes for a relaxing day to shop at boutiques for unique finds, and high-end brand stores for the latest fashion trends and home accents. In between all the shopping, visitors can explore delicious culinary dishes at any of the street-side restaurants or explore the nearby lakes and canals with a scenic boat tour
