Zoo Boo Bash at the Central Florida Zoo
Trick-or-treat at the Central Florida Zoo, the wildest neighborhood in town, during ZOO Boo Bash. It's a safe, fun, and not-too-scary event for young and old alike. Kids are invited to bring goody bags for trick-or-treating and to wear costumes. There will be face painting and animal encounters, along with a daily costume contest at 1 p.m. Admission, Oct. 22 & 23, 29 & 30.
On International Drive, The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye will turn orange in celebration of Halloween Oct. 29 - 31. There will be fun for the whole family on the ground and 400 feet up with trick-or-treating around I-Drive 360, a live DJ, along with costume and dance contents. (Free to the public. Regular admission to ride the Orlando Eye)
Kids Halloween Party at Enzian
Just minutes from downtown Orlando, the famous Enzian Theater is hosting a Kids Halloween Party on Oct. 23. Bring the entire family for a costume party featuring the animated film, "Hotel Transylvania!" Activities will include lunch, games and a costume contest. Lunch/Games 11:30 AM- 12:45PM Film starts at 1:00 PM Package cost is $18 (children and adult).
Orange County Regional History Center Trick or Treat Safe Zone Block Party
Happening in the heart of downtown Orlando, young ghouls and goblins enjoy trick or treating throughout the History Center and Orlando Public Library. Included with this free event will be trick or treat candy, kids crafts and a scavenger hunt at the Trick or Treat Safe Zone Block Party. Face painters and shaved ice treats make this is a fun block party for the whole family. Saturday, Oct. 29,10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m (Free)
The annual weekend, dark side of comic con event, Spooky Empire, will feature an array of activities including a tattoo festival, film festival, celebrity autographs, zombie walk, kids zone, costume and cosplay contest, huge exhibitor room, live music, performances, Q & A's with artists, authors and filmmakers, a game room, seminars, creepy cars, among many other fun and exhilarating activities. Expanded for this year, A Petrified Forest brings the demented to life with two outdoor scare trails, live music, food, and more on select nights, Sept. 30 - Oct. 29. This year, the unsettling haunt invites guests to relive their childhood fears, from monsters under the bed to the darkest "scary" tales imaginable. A demented dream land beckons visitors in, but when - or if - they return is anyone's guess.
