Guest visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort will find that the Butterbeer is plentiful. Although in the original stories Butterbeer was served cold in bottles and hot in "foaming tankards," Universal Orlando serves it three different ways, along with a flavored ice cream, for Harry Potter fans craving the wizarding beverage.
Both at Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley at Universal's two theme parks in Orlando, there are plenty of places to find Butterbeer. We recently did a Twitter poll asking our fans which way they like it served and below are the results.

If summoning which type of Butterbeer is a difficult decision, we have a full list that will help you answer the most important question when visiting the Wizarding World, "Which Butterbeer should I get?"
#1. Cold Butterbeer
Wether you're a muggle or a wizard, this is the classic way to enjoy Butterbeer. It's like drinking a creme soda with butterscotch flavor. It's toped with a thick cream that completes the full experience of this drink. You can purchase this either in the standard plastic cup or in a collectible mug.
#2. Hot Butterbeer
True fans of the series will probably agree that Butterbeer served hot is the most authentic way to enjoy this beverage. The drink is served in either a paper cup or in a collectible plastic mug. It's like driving a butterscotch flavored hot chocolate. There is a thick flavored foam that also tops off this drink.
#3. Frozen Butterbeer
This is a slushy version of the cold Butterbeer that is unique to Universal's theme parks. The butterscotch cream blends into the drink as it melts almost turning it into a Butterbeer shake - perfect for warmer days in Orlando. This drink can also be purchased in a collectible mug.
#4. Butterbeer Ice Cream
With the introduction of Diagon Alley in 2014, came Butterbeer flavored ice cream. In addition to Butterbeer, there are a variety of ice cream flavors served at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour available in cups, waffle cones, and plastic souvenir sundae glasses. True fans can also pick up a bottle of the famous Pumpkin Juice to wash it all down.
So, there you have it. We hope this will get you excited about your visit. An be sure to tell us which type of Butterbeer is your favorite.
