Raise your glass! The 2015 International Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is coming this fall to Walt Disney World and you'll lose your mind over all of the new flavors making their debut in celebration of festival's 20th anniversary. At a special Tables in Wonderland event, participants got a special sneak peek at this year's menu which we can share with you.
Marking its 20 year history, this year the festival will be bigger and better than ever. The food marketplaces are expanding beyond the boundaries of World Showcase into the Future World part of Epcot. And the "The Chew," an American cooking-themed talk show that airs on ABC, will be on location at the festival in early October to shoot five episodes scheduled to air October 12-16.
The menus for the famous food festival in Orlando are still being finalized and we've got a taste of what to expect to whet your appetite, including food and recipes featured on "The Chew."
There are two new marketplaces featuring recipes directly from "The Chew." The Chew Lab will feature a New York Strip with Parsnip Silk, Balsamic Glaze and Arugula Foam.
This delicious dish will be paired with The Smoking Hibiscus featuring Montelobos Mezcal Joven. Mezcal has a smokey, yet sweet characteristic which has become a favorite of craft bartenders.
For dessert, the Chew Lab will feature a new Liquid Nitro Chocolate Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel.
The new Sustainable Chew marketplace is where you can find Pork Spareribs with Red Wine and Fennel and Cheesy Mascarpone Grits.
Our highlight drink of the festival, The Frozen Chew-tini, is paired with this dish made with Crop Organic Meyer Lemon Vodka, carrot mango juice and citrus sour mix.
Rockin' Burger Block Party is making its debut at this year's festival with the Oklahoma BBQ Beef Slider paired with the "boppy" Mmmhops Pale Ale.
Also joining the party is the South African Vegetarian Bunny Chowder Slider with The Dreaming Tree Chardonnay Watermelon Salad.
A new menu item coming to the Farm Fresh marketplace is the Loaded Mac n' Cheese with Nueske's Pepper Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Peppers and Green Onions.
Returning to the Scotland marketplace is the Fresh Potato Pancake with Scottish Salmon and Herb Sour Cream.
Topping it off is The Tipsy Laird Whiskey-Soaked Cake with Lemon Cream and Toasted Oats.
The Dominican Republic marketplace is moving to where Puerto Rico was located last year and is adding a new "Pescado con Coco" - seared grouper, pigeon peas and rice and coconut sauce.
A new beer for this year to be paired with the grouper is the Presidente.
New in the Brazil marketplace will be the "Escondidinho de Carne" - a "Little Hidden One" meat pie layered with mash yucca.
In addition to the amazing desserts already mentioned there are three more worth noting that are truly "the icing on an already amazing cake."
The Ireland marketplace will be serving a Warm Chocolate Pudding with Kerrygold Irish Cream Liquor Custard.
In Australia, you can find a dessert returning to the festival from 2012, the Lamington Yellow Cake Dipped in Chocolate and Shredded Coconut.
And serving daily at Epcot's Refreshment Port is the delectable Croissant Doughnut with Cinnamon and Sugar aka the Cronut. No visit to the park is complete without getting one or two of these beauties.
Bonus taste: Throughout the festival, Epcot will be featuring a white and red private label wine from California made exclusively for the celebration of the milestone year.
