Four Seasons Orlando Lickety Split Barista Bootcamp

If all you care about is coffee, get ready to meet a staff of baristas who want to share their love of coffee making with you. In addition to serving up passionately crafted coffee every day, Lickety Split at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is offering a Barista Bootcamp from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 12, 19 and 26, 2015.

Coffee connoisseurs can participate in this two-hour course to learn how to master the craft of making the perfect cup of coffee from the grinding and brewing methods to latte foam art. It's all part of the resort's ongoing guest programs called Four Seasons Entertain U(niversity).

Allison Burkard, Manager of Lickety Split, is an expert barista trained in Seattle, Washington at the headquarters for Caffe Umbria coffee roasting company. She leads the class in creating the picture perfect cup of joe.

Burkard knows that coffee can be complicated and confusing, so she has designed this intensive course to allow for hands-on, one-to-one training. The class will turn even the most novice at-home barista into an expert including tips for properly frothing milk and creating the perfect latte art.

One of the top highlights of the class is the sampling of the Lickety Split Boozy Gelato Float. Cold brew coffee is combined with two scoops of freshly made gelato (of your choice) along with bourbon cream for the ultimate in refreshing, (adult) coffee beverage.

Although the class is only offered for a limited time and reservations are filling up fast, guests at the Fours Seasons Orlando can enjoy all of the everyday, tasty treats served at Lickety Split including a wide variety of coffee beverages, fresh-made gelato and pastries.
