Tables in Wonderland, the member's only food club of the Walt Disney World Resort, recently hosted a special preview of some of the new menu items appearing at this year's festival.
Entering its 19th year, the festival has continued to grow in popularity and food offerings. And Epcot Executive Chef Jens Dahlmann has whipped up a new menu of fresh tastes and amazing flavors not to be missed.
See some of the new festival tastes that were previewed at the Tables in Wonderland event.
Featuring a fresh farm to table experience, the Farm Fresh Marketplace will serve the Nueske's Pepper Bacon Hash with Sweet Corn, Potatoes, Hollandaise and Pickled Jalapenos.
The Terra Marketplace is the festival's all-vegan booth. This year's highlight will be the "CraB'less CraB Cake" Pepper Slaw and Cajun Remoulade featuring Gardein.
The Scotland Marketplace will offer a new signature dish, the Sea Scallop with Spinach Cheddar Gratin and Crispy Bacon.
Greece is returning with a vegetarian twist on their most popular and traditional dish - Moussaka. This dish was probably our most favorite of the preview dinner.
This year, a new Patagonia Marketplace will make its debut at the festival. Blending the flavors of Argentina and Chile, it will feature tastes like Roasted Verlasso Salmon with Quinoa Salad and Arugula Chimi Churri.
The Puerto Rico Marketplace returns after being absent for a year. Topping the menu is the "Carne Quisada con Arroz Blanco" Slow Braised Beef with Puerto Rican Grown Rice. This dish will be paired with a Sangriiia brand cocktail from Gasolina Urban Blends.
Also available at the Puerto Rico Marketplace will be the Sweet Corn Sorullitos with Mayo Ketchup - presented in an innovative squeezable pouch. Drizzle a little and take a bite! YUM!
The feature wine of the event is the new Paperboy Wine's Red Blend that will be served at the Terra Marketplace. Its 100% recyclable container made of paper material and a plastic lining makes this wine a special experience.
The shocking surprise of the event is the debut of a new beer from 1990's surfer-blonde, pop-music sensations, the Hansons. They've been crafting new ale with a twist on their hit song called, MMMhops Pale Ale. It's MMMbob delicious!
A dessert trip capped off the Tables in Wonderland dinneral featuring the croissant doughnut from Refreshment Port, a Fresh Baked Carrot Cake with Craisins and Cream Cheese Icing from Hops and Barley and Warm Drinking Chocolate from Bean to the Bar.
The 19th Annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival runs September 19th - November 10th, 2014.
