Visit Orlando continues our 13 Weeks of Frightful Fun in Orlando with this week's ghostly good tips to help plan your Halloween fun in Orlando.
Dive into a Halloween "fantasea" during SeaWorld Orlando's Halloween Spooktacular. Sea themed costumed characters and entertainers, along with more than two million pieces of sweets provide a daytime twist on family-friendly trick-or-treating.
Included with regular park admission, this enchanting event is oceans of fun for everyone. Unlike most halloween events that take place after dark, Halloween Spooktacular brings the spooky family fun into the daytime. Every weekend in October, children can enjoy a variety of fun activities, watch silly shows and take pictures with pumpkin fishes and friendly sea witches.
One of the highlights is Penelope's Party Zone. This underwater environment immerses children in the wonders of the sea through music, crafts, games, and colorful characters. Families dance and play along to spooky sounds and tunes played by a live DJ.
Get a "splash" of sweet creativity at the cookie decorating station. Kids can decorate cookies with their own spooky designs from a kit purchased for a few extra dollars. Previously, kits included a souvenir lunch box filled with a jumbo sugar cookie, toppings ranging from icing and sprinkles to M&M's and milk or apple juice to wash it all down.
It's all hands on deck for the craft zone. Kids can create their own crafts including coloring Spooktacular character favorites and make a friendly foam creature creation.
Strolling entertainment dressed as fanciful sea creatures - including Gummy Worm Wanda, Salt Water Taffy and Swedish Fish Suzy - join the "Spook-tastic" fun, welcoming trick-or-treaters as they stroll through colorful, playful schools of pumpkins fish.
Little ones can countdown to Halloween with their favorite Sesame Street characters. Join Count von Count, Elmo and more for a treat of a musical stage show.
Trick-or-treating is, of course, the main event at this celebration. With multiple candy stations and a wide array of sweets and treats, kids will be swimming in Halloween Spooktacular goodies.
So don't miss the dancing sea fairies, pumpkin fish and the sea-themed arts and crafts along with two million pieces of trick-or-treat sweets for a Halloween Spooktacular the whole family will enjoy!
