Part of Visit Orlando's Holly Jolly Holidays 2013
Want to see more lights, dancers on ice and an entire sea of dazzling Christmas trees? The magic of the holidays comes alive at SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration on select nights, now through December 31.
Included with regular park admission, the entire family can enjoy themed holiday decorations throughout the entire park, special live shows and entertainment and family photos in life-sized snow globes. Then take a ride to the North Pole on THE POLAR EXPRESS Experience based on the hit animated film starring Tom Hanks.
Here are Visit Orlando's tips to help make a splash of your Christmas Celebration at SeaWorld Orlando:
Tip: Nothing kicks off your visit to the park like seeing the comedic stylings of Clyde and Seamore in their "Countdown to Christmas" show. But with only one performance of this popular show, at 5:00 p.m., you'll want to get your seats early at the Sea Lion & Otter Theater.
Tip: A must see for the little ones is "Elmo's Christmas Wish" in the Seaport Theater. Sing along with Elmo and a cast of Sesame Street characters in this festive performance that will have your kids dancing in the aisles.
Tip: In-between shows and falling snows, be sure to ride all of SeaWorld's famous coasters. Manta, Kraken and Journey to Atlantis are all open along with all your other favorites like Turtle Trek and Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin.
Tip: Walk among a sea of lighted holiday trees around the park's center lake. The over 100 sparkling trees are choreographed to classic holiday tunes making the most dramatic holiday tree display you've ever seen.
Tip: All Aboard! A unique highlight is The POLAR EXPRESS enhancement to the park's Wild Arctic attraction. This holiday attraction starring Tom Hanks comes to life in a thrilling journey aboard the famous train that'll transport you to the North Pole, aka Wild Arctic Base Camp. Ride the full motion experience or opt to "walk by foot" for the non-motion version. Either way, it's a thrill not to be missed.
Tip: While at the North Pole be sure to meet Santa Clause himself where he greets visitors just as he does in the movie!
Tip: Enjoy delicious treats and find one-of-a-kind gifts among The Christmas Market, located on the park's Bayside Pathway (between the Waterfront area and Bayside Stadium)
Tip: Be sure to stay for the "Holiday Reflections" finale viewable at Bayside Stadium and along the Bayside Pathway. This show combines fountains and fireworks -- a joyous end to a magical evening.
