Halloween can be a monstrously magical time for kids. It is all about the kids, right? But with so many ways to celebrate this weekend through Halloween night, how do you know where to go? We'll be your magic eight ball and take the guessing out of selecting the best events in Orlando that are all treat, no tricks.
Orlando Science Center and their green friend stir up the cauldron with Lil' Frankenstein's Monster Bash Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Preschoolers can play "mad-scientist" at this special interactive Holiday Workshop and enjoy snacks, stories and frightfully fun activities - all while learning about science! After the monster bash, families are invited to browse and enjoy the exhibits that Orlando Science Center has to offer.
Worth mentioning again, young trick-or-treaters can enjoy a safe, fun trick or treat adventure at the Orange County Regional History Center on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Young ghouls and goblins enjoy three floors of trick or treating along with creepy crafts, ghastly games, and Linus' not-so-scary pumpkin patch.
Chocolate milk mustaches provided by the Florida Dairy Farmers will be available for a photo opportunity in honor of the official drink of Halloween.
Youngsters and adults can stroll along the tree-shaded avenues of Downtown Winter Park's "boo-tiful" Park Avenue where participating merchants and boutiques hand out sweet treats to the little ones. Spend a family-friendly afternoon at the bordering Central Park and fuel up for more Halloween fun at the area's delicious cafes and eateries. Young ones can collect their sweets Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bring all your friends, (even your spirited ones) for a ghostly good time at Casper's Friendly Halloween Party at the Enzian Theater in Maitland. Dress your little ghouls and enjoy delicious barbeque lunch, costume contests and carnival games before sitting down to catch the classic Halloween flick.
The party kicks off Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. with the film screening at 1:30 p.m.
Celebrate with space-age thrills and chills at DisneyQuest Halloween Party in Downtown Disney for a night of non-stop eerie activities and exciting attractions! Float through five floors of futuristic fun and experience Halloween like never before with multiple trick-or-treating stops, Disney character encounters, spooky photo opportunities, costume showcases and unlimited games and attractions. Guests of all ages are invited to this ghastly gathering, on Oct. 31 from 6 to 11 p.m.
Little ghosts, ghouls, witches and princesses can have a safe and frightfully fun trick-or-treat adventure at Mall-O-Ween, a mall-wide event at the Florida Mall. Youngsters can visit participating stores to build their candy collection and participate in entertainment, activities, giveaways and other excitement with special participation from Radio Disney on Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Old Town USA conjures up their Festival of Fright - a fun, safe environment for ghouls and goblins of all ages with its annual free Halloween festival.
Spooky fun awaits with live entertainment, creepy "Hauntzones", costume contests and trick-or-treating for youngsters on Halloween night. Join the festivities for a care-free Halloween Oct. 25-26, 31 from 7 to 11 p.m.
