Orlando - The 1st U.S. Destination to Top 55 Million Visitors in 2011
We've smashed another record - thanks to you! Last year, Orlando welcomed a record-breaking 51.455 million visitors in 2010, making us the first destination to top 50 million. Today, Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs announced that Orlando welcomed 55.1 million visitors in 2011. Orlando is the first destination in the country to welcome more than 55 million visitors and remains the most visited destination in the U.S.
Visit Orlando celebrated the big news with some confetti fun and a whole lot of smiles! Thank you to our visitors from around the world who keep Orlando on top!
