Visit Orlando is now recruiting a trilingual Partnership Marketing Senior Representative. The Partnership Marketing Senior Representative will work to develop Visit Orlando's Latin America and domestic Hispanic promotional marketing strategy. This individual will be responsible for the solicitation, negotiation and execution of consumer promotions, broadcast initiatives (radio and television), consumer engagement efforts and special events. Candidate must work synergistically with internal and external stakeholders while demonstrating exceptionally high levels of creativity and organization. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated track record as a brand champion within a theme park, hospitality or advertising agency ideally related to campaigns or initiatives within the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets. Written and verbal fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese is a requirement. Candidate must be enthusiastic and confident with the ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment.

Below are some of the responsibilities of the position...

  • Leads the Partnership Marketing team’s ideation, solicitation and negotiation process relating to Spanish and Portuguese language promotional campaigns within the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets.
  • Leads the Partnership Marketing team’s ideation solicitation and negotiation process relating to Spanish and Portuguese language Consumer engagement initiatives within the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets.
  • Leads the Partnership Marketing team’s ideation, negotiation and implementation relating to Spanish and Portuguese language broadcast initiatives within the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets.
  • Assists the Director of Partnership Marketing in the ideation, solicitation, vetting of destination special events targeted to take place within the Orlando market as they relate to (yet not limited to) events targeting Spanish and Portuguese speaking audiences within the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets.
  • Leads the implementation, execution, tracking and reporting of all efforts surrounding Special events targeted to take place within the Orlando market as they relate to (yet not limited to) events targeting Spanish and Portuguese speaking audiences within the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets.
  • Responsible for effectively developing, tracking, executing all necessary Spanish and Portuguese language based efforts relating to Partnership relationships and their deliverables as committed to by the organization and relating to Global Marketing (Orlando Magic, Orlando City Soccer etc)
  • Responsible for the execution of all Spanish and Portuguese based paid broadcast initiatives within the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets. Responsible for developing and executing a detailed production itinerary for broadcast crews including yet not limited to developing approved script, creating and maintaining broadcast timeline, partnering with internal and external partners and members to obtain interest in broadcast participation, securing city or partner broadcast permits, remain vigilant to the brand standards of Visit Orlando, review and secure appropriate approvals of final broadcast.
  • Responsible for attending and hosting in-market Spanish and Portuguese broadcast production efforts within the destination in order to assure the crew and production maintain necessary production timelines, assure that the production remains on message and supportive of the destination brand message and that membership partners are accurately and appropriately represented within the initiatives.
  • Interacts with international representatives in designated countries (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets) while independently leading promotional programs in their respective markets.
  • Maintains records for promotional campaigns which include promotional leads, proof of performance, implementation and fulfillment needs of members/partners/winners (within Visit Orlando CRM platform)
  • Maintains promotional partner database upon the Visit Orlando CRM platform and coordinates regular external communication to partners via electronic and print campaigns.
  • Represents Partnership Marketing within country meetings (Team USA, Team US Hispanic, Team Brazil, team Colombia, Team Mexico and other assigned Latin America markets) as well as department meetings and other committee meetings as requested.  

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university in a related discipline and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training/education in marketing.
  • Intermediate or higher in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to speak and write Spanish and Portuguese fluently. Must have working knowledge of Latin American cultures and other territories as assigned.
