Visit Orlando is seeking Part-Time Team Leads to manage event staff on-site at the Orange County Convention Center and surrounding hotels throughout the year.   • Act as a liaison between client and Visit Orlando Convention Assistants
  • Responsible to direct and lead day to day tasks of staff on-site
  • Coach, support and develop Convention Assistants
  • Check in Convention Assistants at beginning of shift and ensuring that staff is at assigned workstations according to the schedule
  • Schedule breaks and meal periods in compliance with DOL regulations
  • Collect timesheets, verifying accuracy and obtain client approval
  • Ensure that all Visit Orlando policies and procedures are enforced and followed
  • Create inclusive work environment that empowers and motivates team members
  • Complete incident reports as necessary and escalate all incidents to Convention Staffing Specialist
  • Complete event summary document and provide performance feedback on Convention Assistants



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong PC skills - must be efficient with technology
  • Conflict resolution/problem solving experience
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and mathematical skills
  • Strong initiative and work ethic
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading/coaching/directing others
  • Hospitality/convention/meeting work experience
