The Global Consumer Marketing team is responsible for managing integrated marketing campaigns including advertising, publicity, promotions and broadcast initiatives for the organization to expand the awareness of the destination. Markets include US, Canada, UK, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, China and India.

 

Visit Orlando is seeking one Digital Marketing Intern for the Spring 2018 semester to support the team as they plan, pitch and execute their strategic plans. Ideally, the intern candidate should possess strong organizational, communication and writing skills. Basic computer skills - to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Previous Marketing intern experience a plus.

 

Digital Marketing Intern duties may include:

  • Research and write SEO rich website content pages including: intro copy, e-commerce copy and listing copy.
  • Exposure to planning and executing global digital marketing campaigns.
  • Help with consumer website content updates in the website CMS.
  • Research and track ticket sellers in the Orlando market.
  • Work with Web Development team on website updates and enhancements.
  • Attend department and agency meetings
  • Work with other disciples (areas) of the company.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations.
  • Work with Visit Orlando members on SEM co-op program including material collection, ad creation and implementation.
  • Work in an ever-changing atmosphere where each day presents a new project and learning experience.
  • Ability to speak and write Spanish or Portuguese a plus

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Students must be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program.
  • Must be able to work at least 20 hours a week.
