Visit Orlando is now recruiting for a full-time Digital Advertising Administrator. The Digital Advertising Administrator manages, maintains and administers Visit Orlando's website advertising to ensure company and advertiser objectives and delivery goals are met.

 

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Tracks in a database all incoming and outgoing advertising materials for Visit Orlando's consumer, international, travel trade and meetings websites in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manages all digital advertising materials for the following: Featured Listings, Text Ads, Tile Ads, Direct Response Program Ads, Videos, Social Media Links, Pixel Tracking Links and Petra Tracking Links.
  • Maintains and updates all incoming advertising agreements in accordance with advertising materials.
  • Communicates deadlines to advertising clients and sales representatives, grants materials extensions in accordance with agreements schedules and sends all follow-up materials due reminders as necessary.
  • Assigns a job number to each advertising project and maintains an accurate and up-to-date list. Saves files required for each project as needed to Jobs folder under each job number.
  • Gathers all advertising materials, checks all materials to ensure ads, ad tags, listings and links meet specifications. Tests links, troubleshoots ads/files, acts as technical contact for advertisers and communicates any issues.
  • Works within AppNexus to set up campaigns and implement all Text Ads, Tile Ads, Pixel Tracking Links, and Petra Tracking Links. Works within SalesForce, Vzaar and CMS to post all Featured Listing materials, Digital Response Program ads, Videos and Social Media Links and Pixel Tracking Links.
  • Verifies live posting of each project to ensure the ad/listing is setup appropriately and appearing/linking correctly. Sends notification to Member Development Senior Coordinator and appropriate Sales Representative.
  • Sends a weekly update of all assigned advertising projects to Partner Development Department. Update to include a list of all materials due according to advertising agreements, current assigned projects and completed projects.
  • Monitors all featured listing end dates, notifies Member Development Senior Coordinator in a timely manner of those with an upcoming end date and works to transition those listings to basic listings.
  • Monitors performance of all website advertising campaigns and makes any necessary adjustments to ensure advertisers' delivery goals are met.
  • Compiles mid-month and end-of-month advertiser campaign reports for Partner Development Department. Indicates any campaign irregularities and notes any performance issues.
  • Works within the department to design any advertiser ads needed for placement on any of our sites. Coordinates with artist to meet ad requirements and deadlines. Sends to client for approval and completes files as necessary.
  • Works with Visit Orlando's Marketing Team to implement Visit Orlando house ads and partner ads. Places all house and partner ads on Visit Orlando's websites accordingly to instruction.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining online advertising specifications for the consumer, international, travel trade and meetings websites.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be detailed oriented and organized.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Must be able to type 50 wpm and have an intermediate or higher level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred experience with AppNexus, Sales Force, Vzaar and CMS.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must demonstrate strong verbal/written skills and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
